Best Boy Games is a small, queer-owned, indie game studio based in Madison, Wisconsin. Our mission is to bring rich, immersive queer stories into the world that can move mountains.
Growing up, so many of us didn’t have the privilege to see ourselves represented in the media around us. We know just how important seeing yourself is, and so we’re dedicated to self-publishing unapologetically queer, mature, narrative experiences.
Current Projects
Our current project is titled Chasing the Sun. It’s a coming-of-age story following Harper, a transgender college student with visions of the future, as she grapples with her identity and love in a small college town near Boulder, Colorado.
One summer night, Harper his struck with a vision of an impending apocalypse. As the end of the world draws near, players navigate Harper’s journey of self-discovery, love, and friendship, shaping the story’s outcome according to what they value most.
